Jag har arbetat som professionell fiskeguide sedan 2001 i Lappland. Här har jag guidat i älvar som Muonio, Lainio, Torne, Kalix och Meras, samt i många olika sjöar. Sedan 2006 driver jag mitt eget företag, J.L Guiding, där jag erbjuder professionell guidning och kurser i flugfiske.
Sedan 2003 har jag utbildat fiskeguider i Sverige.
Fiske och friluftsliv har alltid varit en naturlig del av min uppväxt. Jag började fiska så fort jag kunde hålla i en pinne. Jag började med flugfiske och flugbindning på riktigt 1990, när jag fick min första flugfiskeutrustning och mitt första flugbindningskit. Jag har varit aktiv inom alla typer av fiskemetoder, från havsfiske till jerkbaitfiske. Jag använder alltid det bästa från olika fiskemetoder för att göra mitt fiske bättre.
Guidning och fiske är min Livsstil. Tight lines och ha det så bra ute vid vattnet.
Sedan 2021 är jag huvudinstruktör och huvudlärare på den internationella fiskeguideskolan Kiruna Fishing School. www.kirunafishingschool.com

Guide
Jag erbjuder professionell guidning och instruktioner i flugfiske, jerkbait, spinnfiske och trolling.
Jag kan lära dig allt från grunderna till mer avancerat flugfiske.
Du kan få lära dig hur du binder dina egna flugor och hur du använder dem, var fisken står, när chansen är störst att fånga de största exemplaren, hur du drillar och hur du hanterar en fisk som du vill släppa tillbaka.
Instruktör
Jag arrangerar olika flugfiskekurser under sommaren och även andra tider på året om det finns intresse.
Jag arrangerar kurser i:
• Flugfiske för nybörjare
• Flugfiske efter harr
• Tvåhands flugfiske för nybörjare
• Flugfiske efter gädda
• Flugbindning för nybörjare
• Flugfiske och flugbindning för harr
För varje guidedag som jag säljer så kommer jag att ge tillbaka minst 3 timmar i fiskevård i våra biflöden och sjöar.

År 2024 hade jag förmånen att vara värd för Emelie Björkman och den svenska dokumentärserien Gränslöst fiske (Fishing Without Borders). Dokumentären spelades in i det vackra Muoniovaaraområdet, där de flesta av mina gäster fiskar.

Fishing and outdoor life have been a natural thing during my time growing up. I started to practice fishing when I could hold a stick in my hand. I started fly-fishing and fly-tying for real in the year 1990 when I got my first fly-fishing equipment and first fly-tying kit. I have been active in all different kinds of fishing methods – everything from sea fishing to jerkbait fishing. I always take the best of all different fishing methods to make my fishing better.
Fishing and guiding is my lifestyle. Tight lines and have a nice time outdoors.

In 2024, I was fortunate enough to host Emelie Björkman and the Swedish documentary series Gränslöst fiske (Fishing Without Borders). The documentary was filmed in the beautiful Muoniovaara area, where most of my guests fish.
